Purpose

Define the key performance indicators used to measure platform health, user engagement, and educational impact.

Engagement Metrics

  • Monthly Active Users (MAU) — Unique users who log in at least once per month
  • Session Completion Rate — Percentage of scheduled sessions that are actually conducted
  • Mentor Utilisation — Average sessions per active mentor per month
  • Student Retention — Percentage of students who remain active after 3/6/12 months
  • Match Acceptance Rate — Percentage of suggested matches accepted by both parties

Impact Metrics

  • Pathway Completion Rate — Percentage of students who complete a full career pathway
  • Student Satisfaction Score — Post-session ratings (1-5 scale)
  • Mentor Satisfaction Score — Monthly mentor survey results
  • Educational Outcomes — WASSCE pass rates, university admission rates, TVET completion rates for platform users vs. baseline

Operational Metrics

  • Verification Turnaround — Average time from mentor application to verified status
  • Safety Incident Rate — Flagged incidents per 1,000 sessions
  • Platform Uptime — Target 99.5% availability
  • Average Page Load — Target under 3 seconds on 3G connections

Reporting Cadence

Weekly dashboard review by operations team. Monthly report to leadership. Quarterly impact report to partners and stakeholders.
